Durres Container Terminal SH.A. (DCT) operates the container terminal of the Port of Durrës, since February 2013. DCT is responsible for the operation, management, maintenance and technical improvement of the container terminal.

Port of Durres is geographically located in the western part of Albania. It is one of the most strategic ports on Balkan and Adriatic Sea, which passes through the 8th Pan European Corridor. It’s a well-known Port in the region and offers a perfect combination of geographical position, moderate climate, roads, and rail access. It is an artificial basin that is formed between two moles; with a west-north-westerly oriented entrance approximately 183 meters (600 ft.) wide
